How Does Your Garden Grow? Update #2

Gardening is a lot like blogging. You can put stuff out there, but you’re not really sure if your work will take root and grow. At least we’ve got some clear signs in the garden.

Arugula: the hare of the backyard garden

The sweet peas, sunflowers, and red leaf lettuce are also sprouting. All this activity brought on a dilemma: where the heck can we step in this ginormous garden bed without squashing a future meal? Thanks to some cast-off vase filler from Ikea, we now know:

I know. You have to stand on your head to read the letters in the correct sequence. Although, if I turned that “l” into an “r”, I’d have an palindrome. Or that “r” into an “l”. My family could be starving and I’d be thinking about word play.
